Kurtis J. Stroemel, CPA, CBC, is president of HR&S Financial Services, LLC, which specializes in employee benefit and life insurance planning, creating strategic group benefit and retirement programs for family-owned companies and middle market businesses in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Delaware.

As a certified public accountant (CPA), chartered benefit consultant (CBC), insurance consultant and investment advisor, Kurt brings broad expertise to the planning process, considering both the financial and tax implications of long-range benefit programs. HR&S Financial Services offers a complete line of group insurance, voluntary and tax-advantaged benefit plans as well as pension, profit sharing and 401k plans tailored to an organization’s specifications.

Kurt was previously a manager for Heffler, Radetich & Saitta LLP, until joining HR&S Financial Services when it was established as an affiliate of the firm in 2003. He has also served as CFO of a film services company in Marlton, N.J.

Kurt holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. He is a licensed life, health and disability insurance professional in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. Kurt is also a Registered Representative and Investment Advisor Representative in Pennsylvania, New Jersey and California, having passed the Series 7, Series 63 and Series 66 Securities exams.

The CBC designation identifies Kurt as an expert in consumer-driven health plans, such as Health Savings Accounts (HSAs), Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs) and Health Reimbursements Arrangements (HRAs).

He is a member of the American Institute of CPAs and the New Jersey Society of CPAs, the Society of Financial Services Professionals, the Estate & Financial Planning Council of Southern NJ, the National Association of Alternative Benefit Consultants, the National Association of Health Underwriters, the Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters, and the Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters.

Within the community, Kurt is a member of the board of directors of the Voorhees Township Economic Development Committee, the Voorhees Breakfast Rotary Club, the Voorhees Girls Softball Association, the Voorhees Township Recreation Council and The GoodLooking Foundation, which seeks to improve the outlook on autism. He is vice-chairman of the Voorhees Township Zoning Board of Adjustment and secretary of the Camden County College Foundation. Kurt is a member of the Eastern Regional High School Advisory Council and coaches youth softball.
