Joyce M. Connolly, RHU, CBC, CLTC
Joyce M. Connolly, Account Executive, provides over twenty years of experience in the insurance industry, with an emphasis on group health and life insurance planning. She is responsible for the design, implementation and management of the employee benefits group insurance programs for small businesses and middle market companies.
As a Registered Health Underwriter, Joyce is proficient in analyzing existing plan designs and developing contribution strategies and tax-saving account options. She interfaces with businesses to ensure compliance with federal and state insurance rules and regulations. Joyce oversees the day-to-day administration of service and claim issues.
As a Chartered Benefit Consultant (CBC), a Certified Long-Term Care (CLTC) advisor and a licensed life, health and disability insurance professional in Pennsylvania and New Jersey, Joyce maintains on-going relationships with the local and regional insurance carriers to provide clients with the most progressive, comprehensive and cost-effective product offerings. The CBC designation identifies her as an expert in Consumer Driven Health Plans such as Flexible Spending Accounts (FSAs), Health Reimbursement Arrangements (HRAs) and Health Savings Accounts (HSAs).
Joyce has also been awarded a professional degree in the complex field of long-term care. The CLTC designation is independent of the insurance industry and provides Joyce with an understanding of the resources available to clients as they age, how they will pay for long-term care should they become chronically ill or frail and the effect this can have on their families.
Joyce is currently enrolled at The American College pursuing the Registered Employee Benefits Consultant designation. She is a member of the National Association of Health Underwriters, The Pennsylvania Association of Health Underwriters, the Greater Philadelphia Association of Health Underwriters, the National Association of Alternative Benefit Consultants and the Society for Human Resource Management.
